What makes iCandy RagaMuffins so special?

iCandy RagaMuffins, located in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, was one of less than forty CFA catteries worldwide  designated a CFA Cattery of Excellence until the program was discontinued in 2025. At this time, iCandy is a TICA Outstanding Cattery, although iCandy RagaMuffins are pedigreed RagaMuffins through CFA. Both designations entail a cattery inspection process for superior cattery environment.

RagaMuffin kittenEvery breeding is planned carefully to optimize the genetic potential. As I am a veterinarian, health is of utmost importance. Each breeding cat is DNA tested clear for multple genetic diseases, the most significant being  PKD1 and HCM Ragdoll mutations. iCandy also takes the additional step of an echocardiogram (heart  ultrasound) on breeding RagaMuffins to ensure there are no underlying problems in cats to be bred. See my blog Health Clearances.

iCandy regularly competes in CFA cat shows for individual RagaMuffins to be evaluated by trained judges. I am proud to say, my RagaMuffins have competed with the best cats of any breed in the country and done very well, with numerous Grand Champions, Regional Winners and national Breed Winners.

RagaMuffin kittens are socialized with love, registered with CFA, microchipped, and spayed/castrated before going to their forever homes at 14-16 weeks of age. iCandy RagaMuffins make wonderful, affectionate companions. Don’t be surprised if you have to wait a bit to get one. But, a RagaMuffin kitten from iCandy is worth it! See waitlist info

RagaMuffin kittens are raised in the home with other pets.  Take a look at the Facebook page for photos of iCandy RagaMuffin kittens. Both the website and Facebook page are kept up to date.

Sorry, I do not ship kittens in cargo. I prefer that kittens are picked up in person. By picking up a kitten in person, I feel that families are able to see the environment their kitten grows up in. A web site may make a breeder look good, but unfortunately, this can be misleading.

Mostly retired after more than  forty years of veterinary practice, I am now able to devote full time to my RagaMuffin cats, my geriatric Quarter Horse and my beloved Labrador Retriever.

Occasionally, I have retiring adults available. These RagaMuffin cats are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, thoroughly genetically tested and have had a normal echocardiogram.

CH iCandy Baked Alaska will be retiring this fall. She will be available for a pet home. Born on 9/29/22, she is still very young to fit into a household.

Alaska has been genetically tested and had a normal echocardiogram prior to breeding. She is a gorgeous black smoke and white purr machine.
