I got my first Labrador Retriever in 1980 and fell hard for the breed. My first competition dog came along in 1995 and Canterbury Tails Labradors was born. Canterbury Tails Labradors earned breed championships, rally, obedience and field titles. My limited breeding program focused on temperament, beauty, health and trainability. A founding member of Keystone Labrador Retriever club, I am also an AKC Breeder of Merit.  I retired from competition in 2017 after earning over 50 AKC titles with my dogs. In 2019, I was proud to become an American Kennel Club judge of Labrador Retrievers. In 2020, I retired from breeding these wonderful dogs. Labradors remain an important part of my life.
