About iCandy Ragamuffins

I grew up with horses, dogs and cats. I showed Quarter Horses prior to college and became very involved in that culture, including serving as the Virginia Quarter Horse Association Queen. I attended veterinary school and got my first Labrador. This led to Canterbury Tails Labradors. I spent 25 years actively competing with and breeding Labradors. My dogs earned over 50 AKC titles in various events. Currently, I am an AKC judge of Labrador Retrievers, Fetch Dog and Farm Dog.

My love of RagaMuffins began in 2009 when I added Bon Bon, a sable and white RagaMuffin, to my clowder of beloved rescue cats. Two years later, I obtained Nougat as my first show cat and was bitten by the show bug! iCandy RagaMuffins was born. It has been a journey of learning, enjoyment and love. iCandy is home to CFA award winning RagaMuffins which include Grand Champions, Grand Premiers, Regional Winners and national Breed Winners. But, most importantly, iCandy is the home of treasured family pets. I am proudly a CFA Cattery of Distinction and a TICA Outstanding Cattery.

Mostly retired after practicing veterinary medicine since 1983, I sold my small animal practice in 2021 and while I work on occasion, I spend most of my time with my adored cats and my one geriatric Quarter Horse.
